Participants will drink approximately 8 ounces of beer at different points throughout the course. Must be 21 or older to participate in the beer run. Each participant will have a small commemorative stein to carry along the race course. Runners are not required to join in the beer run.

One of the state's largest women's-only walk/run is set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, in Hesston, Kan. The 26th-annual Emma Creek Classic 5k Walk, Jog or Run is open to women of all ages and skill levels. Awards are given to the top 10 overall winners plus the top three in each of 16 age divisions. An awards ceremony and buffet follow the 5k. Each registered participant receives a T-shirt and a packet of items.
