Her first half marathon was Prairie Fire 2010. Since she has ran over 25 half marathons, three full marathons, multiple 5K and 10K’s. When asked half marathons are her favorite. Angela began mentoring runners in 2019; in 2021 she began her journey to officially being a certified running coach.
She loves planning group runs for Run Wichita. When working with individuals she creates relationships with each runner focusing on their goals whether it is speed, endurance, strategy, or their first 5K. Each training plan is individualized to the needs of the runner. She looks forward to adding youth and ultra training to her profile. The excitement of watching a runner grow in the sport and achieving their goals is a feeling of joy.
